Understanding career interests are crucial at this stage of studies in order to have the greatest opportunities for your future. Students in Years 11 and 12 face an increased work load to prepare for tertiary study or a trade or employment and we work with you to ensure subject selection and results are in line with future career interests and study opportunities.

We provide year 11 and 12 students and families with up-to-date information from universities, colleges, employers and government agencies. We will also assist students to develop a study pathway suited to you and your interests. These may include study at university, TAFE college, a private or agricultural college, an apprenticeship, traineeship, employment or a combination.

YEAR 11 APPOINTMENTS ARE USED TO
Build on or identify career and study interests from earlier appointments, ascertain suitable career areas and employment opportunities and develop a study plan through to completion of Year 12 and entrance into University, college or an apprenticeship.

YEAR 12 STUDY & SUCCESS
In your final year of schooling we suggest that students make an appointment at the commencement of year 12 for either your initial Career Interest Review assessment or for an update of your career interests, pathways and study objectives. We also recommend a final year 12 appointment in August to finalise your QTAC / UAC / VTAC applications.
